With guidance and wisdom from a succession of strong tribal chiefs and leaders to preserve our history, culture and traditions, the Chiricahua Apache Mimbres Band stands proudly as one of the few truly sovereign nations.

As a peaceful nation, the tribe's historical foundation is based upon "SELF RELIANCE" and is governed by its' own tribal laws.

The Chiricahua Apache Mimbres Band are related to the Chiricahua Apache Warm Springs Bands. The Mimbres people lived in West Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California. Many also reside in Sonora, Mexico.
Our cousins are Geronimo, Cochise and Mangas Coloradus.
Our historical tribal Chiefs were Victorio, Loco the Peacemaker, Naiche (Natchez).
